CELEBRATE 25 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE LORD: St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Ironwood, Missouri invites you to join with them in surprising Pastor Ronald Simmons with a celebration marking his 25 years of pastoral ministry. The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, June 26, 2010 (1:00pm – 5:00pm) at Fort Davidson Park in Pilot Knob, Missouri. RSVP to Mr. Bob Schroer by no later than June 15^th at (573) 546-3091. Special Thank You to Twana Bauer and Iris Kruenegel.  These ladies donated pies for the Augsburg Angels Relay Team pie auction held on WKRV radio.  The pies brought in $430.00 for the Fayette County Relay.  We also want to thank everyone who donated to the Fayette County Relay in any way.

REMEMBER OUR SHUT-INS: Give encouragement to those members of your church family who can’t join us here on a weekly basis. Call them… send them a card… visit them!!! A list of our shut-ins is posted on the bulletin board in the narthex. A copy of this list is available in our church office.

VBS 2010 NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT! Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:16. 

There are so many things we like to do during these summer months. And then again, there are those things that we really need to do. Consider VBS!

After all, Jesus' words make it quite clear, don't they? You and I have already been given the great privilege of knowing that saving Truth; as His disciples, we are likewise commanded to share it with others. Our Vacation Bible School provides the children of this community with a wonderful opportunity to hear the Good News of Salvation. For many of the children who attend our annual VBS, this is the only opportunity they will hear about Jesus Christ has done for them. We need to act forcefully on this opportunity.

 As Paul tells us, “"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” Romans 10:13-14a.   Members of Immanuel Lutheran Augsburg Church, our mission is clear. Your participation is needed at this year’s Vacation Bible School! This year’s VBS is scheduled for July 26^th through July 31^st.
