Saturday Evening Service Coming In July: Saturday, July 3^rd will mark the first of our monthly Saturday evening services. Divine Service with Communion (6:00 PM) will be scheduled for the first Saturday of each month thereafter.  This provides our worship community with an additional opportunity to gather around God’s gifts in Word and Sacrament. What a great opportunity to invite a friend to be in that place where “faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God”. Mark your calendars now!

It’s Not Too Early To Start Thinking About VBS 2010 NOW: Vacation Bible School is scheduled for the week that begins Sunday, July 25^th. This annual event provides Immanuel Augsburg with the ideal opportunity to present the precious Gospel message to children (and adults) throughout this community. Think about it! This may be the very first time that many of these children have heard the Good News.  Our goal is to ensure that the Word is faithfully proclaimed and heard, so that those who have not heard may hear and know that Jesus is the Christ, and that by believing they may life in His Name. 

We want you to start thinking about this RIGHT NOW. How can you contribute of your time, talents and resources to ensure that these children might share in what God has so freely given you in Christ? More information will be forthcoming shortly. Please plan on participating in this important event.

Summer Daycare is available Monday through Friday 6:30 AM through 6:00 PM. To inquire about rates, etc. please call (618) 349-8008 or (618) 349-8888. If there is no answer, please leave a message. There are also still openings in both the 3 year old and 4/5 year old preschool classes for the 2010-2011 school year.  Please call either of the above numbers for rates and other information.

June 5^th & 6^th is the Fayette County Relay for Life.  The activities start at 4:30 with opening ceremony at 6:00 pm.  There will be live entertainment and a live auction.  Come and enjoy the evening with us as we raise funds to find a cure for cancer.
