Please note
that we commune only those who are communicant members of the
Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
Although we long to share this precious gift with you, we
also recognize that where one receives the Sacrament outwardly, this
also identifies that person's confession of faith.
If you desire to learn more about our beliefs, please speak
to Pastor.

Speaking at Altamont: Rev. Ted Krey from the Dominican Republic will be speaking after
services on June 6 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altamont. Pastor
Krey and his wife, Rebecca, serve one of the first Lutheran
congregations in that country. They will speak on their work to
establish homes for developmentally disabled children and their
relief work to the people of Haiti during the January earthquake.
The event begins with a potluck meal at noon. All are invited and
may bring a dish or two to share. Table service and drinks are
provided.
On Sunday morning, May 30th,
Seminarian Tim Koch (and former vicar of Pastor Doug Meyer) will be
leading our fellowship in Bible Study and Worship. NOTE: There will
be no communion on the morning of May 30th.
Saturday Evening Service Coming In July:
Saturday, July 3rd will mark the first of our monthly
Saturday evening services. Divine Service with Communion (6:00 PM)
will be scheduled for the first Saturday of each month thereafter.
This provides our worship community with an additional
opportunity to gather around God’s gifts in Word and Sacrament. What
a great opportunity to invite a friend to be in that place where
“faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God”. Mark your
calendars now!
Augsburg Angels are looking for a volunteer
to bake a pie to be auctioned off on WPMB radio.
The auction will be the week before the Relay for Life.
If you have any questions, contact Karen or Scott Torbeck.
Free- Computer monitors and a double cassette player in the kitchen basement. First come first serve. Scott can get a power cord for the monitor, if needed.
