DISTRIBUTION
Please note that we commune only those who are communicant members of the
Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Although
we long to share this precious gift with you, we also recognize that where one
receives the Sacrament outwardly, this also identifies that person's confession
of faith. If you desire to learn
more about our beliefs, please speak to Pastor.

High School Youth Trip
Fund-raiser The fundraising
is still going on for the high school youth who are planning to attend the trip
next summer. They are having an
aluminum can drive. You may bring
your aluminum cans to the church and put them in the north garage or contact any
of the youth and they will be happy to come and pick them up.
Scrap aluminum is also welcome. They
are also collecting empty computer ink cartridges that they can sell and make
some money on. There is a box in the Narthex that you can put your empty one
in.
Confirmation Class The Thursday afternoon 5th and 6th grade Confirmation Class will resume this Thursday, April 15, at 4:00 p.m.
Thank you to Braden Ehrat for playing the trumpet this morning.
Pastor Wohletz will be out of the office this Tuesday to attend the Circuit Pastors Meeting at St. Paul Lutheran Church. If you need to reach him on Tuesday, please call at St. Paul at 349-6291.
Hot Air Balloon
The “Lift High the Cross” hot air balloon is coming to Augsburg!
We received word last week that the Missouri Synod hot air balloon, named
“Lift High the Cross,” will be here on July 24-25.
The balloon will be available for flights and tethered balloon rides.
This will be an excellent opportunity for community outreach and to
promote our Vacation Bible School, which will run from July 26-30.
Forty volunteers will be needed to help crew the balloon and to pass out
balloon cards with a Gospel message. A
picture of the balloon is on the bulletin board in the Narthex.
Look for more information in the future.
