The Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ
VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not
here; He has risen!” Thanks be to God, who gives us the
victory through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today we
recall the empty tomb. Because that tomb has been forever
vacated, we rejoice in the gift of eternal life this day by
the immeasurable grace of God through faith in His Beloved
Son, Our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. On this
glorious day, we celebrate His Resurrection from the dead in
Word and Sacrament.
In this Holy Supper, our Savior gives to us His
true Body and His true Blood for
the strengthening of our faith. Those who approach the
Lord’s Table give public witness to our confessional unity
of faith. On the Scriptural basis of this unity, we ask that
only those who are members of a congregation in the Lutheran
Church – Missouri Synod commune with us. If you have not
communed here before, please ask to speak with the Pastor or
one of our Elders before the service.
The Congregation Rises.
