DISTRIBUTION
Please note that we commune only those who are
communicant members of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
Although we long to share this precious gift with you, we also
recognize that where one receives the Sacrament outwardly, this also
identifies that person's confession of faith.
If you desire to learn more about our beliefs, please speak to Pastor.

Captive Free The college-age youth band, Captive Free, will
be returning to Augsburg this Tuesday, March 29, for a family night concert at
7:00 p.m. A meal with the group
will be served at 5:30 p.m. that night. This
is a group of mostly Lutheran college aged students who take a year off of
school to travel around and present the Gospel message through songs and
skits. This will be a different
group of students and a different program from last year. A “Needs” list for the team is posted in the narthex.
If you would like to donate items to the team from that list, please
bring them to the concert on Mar. 29.
Married Couples Weekend The
sign-up list for the married couples’ retreat at Camp CILCA near Springfield
on May 14-15 is posted in the narthex. We
are limited to 14 couples, so please put your name down soon.
After next Sunday, April 3, we will open the retreat to couples from
other Circuit churches. More
details about the retreat are found on the list. The retreat will be an informal opportunity for fellowship
with fellow couples and an opportunity to grow together in the Word of God.
We will be discussing ways of strengthening our marriage, but this will
not be an intensive psychological workshop.
The Laborers for Christ,
an organization that assists Missouri Synod congregations with their building
programs, is seeking volunteers to help with a number of projects around the
country this spring and summer. One
of their projects is helping build the fellowship hall addition for Immanuel
Lutheran Church in Altamont. Please
talk to Pastor Wohletz for more information.
Prayer List The Elders and Pastor request that if you wish
a name to remain on the prayer list for longer than four weeks to please let
Pastor know.
Church Library If
you are interested in helping to develop a church library, please talk with
Pastor.
